The Grapes, Maentwrog

The Grade II listed Grapes Hotel is located in Maentwrog in the Vale of Ffestiniog.  A former coaching inn which dates back to the 17th century and is one of the oldest and most famous inns in Wales.  The Grapes is conveniently located in the heart of Snowdonia National Park.
Offering a fine selection of real ales. 
It is said that David Lloyd George (1863 – 1945), the former Prime Minister and Lillie Langtry (1853 – 1929) the famous actress had tea at the hotel though not together! 
The Grapes is reputedly haunted by two ghosts  - one of an old lady in Victorian clothing which has been seen below the stairs and the other of a piano player seen on the residential landing. 
The Grapes Hotel offers Sky Sports and free Wi-Fi.
