Refurbished over the years and now has easier access due to road improvements.  Located at the junction of roads to Llantwit Fardre, Efail Isaf, Creigiau and Rhiwsaeson.
Skittle alley long gone.
Real ale served.
The Ship has a large car park with beer garden.

A sporting pub with a Manchester United clock hanging proudly above the bar.

Boars Head, Tonyrefail

Boars HeadImposing public house standing in the heart of Tonyrefail and overlooking the town.  Decor inside unchanged possibly since the 1970s?  A locals pub with an impressive long wooden bar with bar stools. 

Drinking area on the outside which these days convenient for smokers.
