Pen-y-Bryn, Colwyn Bay

The Pen-y-Bryn was named after the road and not after its Welsh translation which is ‘top of the hill’.  It opened in 1983.  Formerly known as Taylor’s and most of the materials used in its construction was acquired from properties demolished to make way for the new A55 dual carriageway. 
Refurbished in June 2001 and renamed Pen-y-Bryn with interiors comprising of oak floors, open fires and oldie worldie furniture. 
The Pen-y-Bryn has lovely views over the local area.
