The Blue Lion Inn, Cwm, Dyserth

Located in the Vale of Clwyd the Blue Lion lies in a prime location to view Snowdonia and the Irish Sea.  The inn dates back to the 17^th century and originally built to accommodate the monks of the nearby church.  Legend has it, the walls surrounding the snug houses the tombs of former monks. 

The Blue Lion is one of the oldest free houses in Wales and steeped in history and it is generally believed that an underground tunnel leads to the local churchyard. 

Reputedly haunted by a ghost called John Henry who was killed following a drunken fight.

Serving real ale.

The inn offers free WiFi and walkers have the opportunity to be supplied with picnic sets to explore the beautiful surroundings.
