Piccadilly Inn, Caerwys
Submitted by PubsCymru on
The Piccadilly Inn in Caerwys dates from 1662 and once owned by Lord Mostyn. Name of pub derives from one of Lord Mostyn’s horses which won a race at the old Holywell racecourse near Babell. The triumphant jockey was given the Piccadilly as a reward.
Located not far from the busy A55 the Jockey has a games room which includes a pool table, darts board complete with a juke box.
Real ale served and newly refurbished restaurant uses locally sourced produce.
