The Royal Oak, Penrhyndeudraeth
Submitted by PCE on
The bay windowed Royal Oak stands on the High Street in Penrhyndeudraeth and is made of Welsh stone. Legend has it the lower half of Penrhyndeudraeth was built behind the Royal Oak.
The Royal Oak is conveniently located to the popular village resort of Portmeirion built by Sir Cliff Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1975.
Popular with locals and tourists alike and serving real ale.
Pool and darts played in the Games room.
