Drovers Arms, Howey

The Drovers Arms, which is now a Thai restaurant, dates back to the late 19^th century and stands opposite the Laughing Dog in Howey.  It possesses a 13^th century cellar which was badly burnt in a fire in the 1890s. 

At one time a popular haunt for salmon poachers and a poem commemorated their exploits was on the wall of the bar. 

The Drovers Arms closed in 2004 and reopened as a Drovers Thai Restaurant.
