Valentine Inn, Llanddulas
Submitted by PubsCymru on
The Valentine Inn dates back to at least 1788 and its the earliest known pub in Llanddulas. The licensee in 1841 was Thomas Ffoulkes and the landlord in 1895 was one Joseph Jones.
Name of pub has been in question for some time with some residents believing its name derives from the fact it was opened on Valentine’s Day. The debate goes on...
The inn has plenty of charm and early photographs show the lower door of the building has a Post Office sign above it.
