Old Coach House, Abergwaun
Submitted by PubsCymru on
Newidiodd yr enw o’r Swan ym 1987 pan ddaeth Paul a Debbie Johnson yn dyfarnwyr trwyddedig ar y lle. Fe oruchwylion nhw yr ymestyniad a’r ailwampio hefyd.
Capten John Evans oedd y tafarnwr rhwng 1846 ac 1852 a chwaraeodd e ran bwysig iawn yn achub criw y Sir Peregrine a ddrylliwyd ger Abergwaun ym 1846.
Defnyddiwyd y cae y tu cefn i’r dafarn yn aml ar gyfer arwerthiannau amaethyddol.
Mae waliau allanol yr Old Coach House wedi’u haddurno gan waith yr artistiaid lleol, Leon Olin a Sylvia Gainsford , sy’n dangos golygfeydd o’r Goresgyniad Ffrengig ym 1787.
