Arferai'r 'Singing Kettle Inn' sefyll ar ffordd brysur yr A55 tua 4 milltir o Dreffynnon.

Ar un adeg roedd yn gyrchfan poblogaidd i giniawyr.

Cafodd ei ddymchwel ar ddiwedd y 1990au a chodwyd McDonalds yn ei lle.

Rising Sun, Nannerch

Arferai'r hen dafarn goets, a oedd yn 500 mlwydd oed, sefyll ar brif ffordd yr A541 rhwng yr Yr Wyddgrug a Dinbych.

Yn ystod y 1960au disgrifiwyd y Rising Sun fel hyn 'the exterior is very smart and well cared for while the interior offers a high standard of queit comfort.... with interesting Welsh Tapestry and luxury carpets'

Fe'i caewyd ar ddechrau'r 21ain ganrif a throwyd yr adeilad yn fusnes.

Palace Hotel, Rhyl

Yn ei hanterth roedd 24 stafell ddwbl a 6 stafell sengl yn y Palace Hotel, un o'r gwestai ehangaf a mwyaf blaenllaw yn y Rhyl.  Safai'r adeilad crand ar gornel y stryd wrth ochr orllewinol y traeth.

Yn ystod y 1970au a'r 1980au daeth llawr isaf y gwesty, a'i llawr ddawnsio teils , yn ddisgoteg bywiog.  y droellwraig adnabyddus Pat Swallow oedd wrthi pryd hynny. 

Yn ystod y 1990au roedd yr adeilad ar werth am oddeutu £150,000 ac yn awr mae'n gartref i Ali' Burger Bar.

 

Ferry Hotel, Tal y Cafn

Fel mae'r enw'n awgrymu , adeildadwyd y ferry Hotel i wasanaethu'r teithwyr oedd yn croesi'r afon Conwy mewn cwch.

Yn anffodus dymchwelwyd yr adeilad er mwyn codi tai yn y 1990au.

Cerrigllwydion Arms, Llanynys

Saif y Cerrigllwydion Arms ger Eglwys Sant Saeran a godwyd yn y 13eg ganrif.  Mae ym mhentref fechan Llanynys, rhwng Rhuthyn a Dinbych, Sir Ddinbych.  Adeiladwyd y dafarn wreiddiol gan Edward Edwards, Twrne Neuadd Cerrigllwydion.  Fe'i codwyd ar wastatir a berthynai i'r Eglwys a lle a safai' stabal un tro.  Rhoddodd y Ficer ganiatad i adeiladau darn o'r dafarn yn iard yr Eglwys (y fynwent) yn hytrach na chuddio golygfa Castell Dinbych rhag y plwyfolion.

Red Lion, Pembroke

The former Red Lion dated back to the 1790s when a certain John Lewis was the licensee.  Name derives from the Cawdor coat of arms.

By 1859 the friendly society, Heart of Oak Benefit Society, met at the Red Lion.

The Red Lion closed its doors in the 1890s but is still serving the local community as a fish and chips shop.
 

Green Dragon, Pembroke

At one time the former Green Dragon, now the NatWest Bank was a fashionable coaching inn in Pembroke.  The Green Dragon dated back to the 1770s and was described as the best hostelry in Pembroke by the Cambrian directory of 1800.

The Green Dragon became popular with various societies holding many high class dinners.  Societies included Pembroke Farmers Club, Oddfellows, United Friends Society and later the Loyal Order of Ancient Druids.

York Tavern, Pembroke

Sadly the historic York Tavern closed its doors back in 2002.  According to local legend secret passages lead from the York, under the castle and on to the priory at Monkton.

It is said Cromwell was housed here during the civil war.

Another important historic figure, John Wesley, is said to have preached in the old chapel which at one time stood in the tavern’s grounds.

Three Crowns, Pembroke Dock

The Three Crowns dates back to the mid 19th century and was formerly known as the George and Dragon.  It was often referred to as ‘one of the most popular and cosy inns of pre-war Pembroke Dock’

The Three Crowns was badly damaged by a German air raid during May 1941 with the landlords Mr and Mrs Bowen being found alive in the rubble the following morning.

A skittle alley was attached to the Three Crowns during the 1960s when it was known at the time as Brooksies. Reverted back to the old name during the early 1990s.

Closed by 2013.

Newport Arms, Cardigan

The Newport Arms stood near Castle Street in the Bridgend area of Cardigan.  John Mathias, Master of the schooner Victoria ran the Newport Arms from 1817 to 1830. 

During the 1860s the inn was closed only to be reopened twenty years later at a different location on Castle Street.  The Newport Arms was finally closed in 1906 when the local magistrates refused to renew its license.
