Palace Hotel, Rhyl

Yn ei hanterth roedd 24 stafell ddwbl a 6 stafell sengl yn y Palace Hotel, un o'r gwestai ehangaf a mwyaf blaenllaw yn y Rhyl.  Safai'r adeilad crand ar gornel y stryd wrth ochr orllewinol y traeth.

Yn ystod y 1970au a'r 1980au daeth llawr isaf y gwesty, a'i llawr ddawnsio teils , yn ddisgoteg bywiog.  y droellwraig adnabyddus Pat Swallow oedd wrthi pryd hynny. 

Yn ystod y 1990au roedd yr adeilad ar werth am oddeutu £150,000 ac yn awr mae'n gartref i Ali' Burger Bar.

 

Ferry Hotel, Tal y Cafn

Fel mae'r enw'n awgrymu , adeildadwyd y ferry Hotel i wasanaethu'r teithwyr oedd yn croesi'r afon Conwy mewn cwch.

Yn anffodus dymchwelwyd yr adeilad er mwyn codi tai yn y 1990au.

Pink Farm Inn, Llandudno

Arferai’r Pink Farm Inn sefyll ar Y Gogarth ac roedd ar agor yn ystod dechrau’r ugeinfed ganrif.   Ym 1890 Mrs. J. Roberts oedd y dafarnwraig a gwerthai cwrw a porter.  Uwchben y drws roedd arwydd yn dweud ‘Mrs. J. Roberts (late) William Owen, Farm Inn, Great Ormes Head, licensed to sell Ale & Porter, wines, refreshments etc.’

Yn ddiweddarach roedd yn dwyn yr enw Pink Farm Café cyn ei throi’n ôl yn fferm a gwelir yr hysbyseb pwl ‘Teas’ ar y to.

Grand Hotel, Llandudno

Grand Hotel, LlandudnoThe Grand Hotel was designed in 1900 by J. Francis Doyle of Liverpool and at the time was much applauded for its architectural achievement which was likened at the time to a seven storey ‘Fairy Castle’. 

Bryn Tyrch, Capel Curig

The Bryn Tyrch Inn is located in the heart of Snowdonia with exceptional views of Snowdon and Moel Siabod.  A boar motif can be seen inside the inn which has two bars and open fires during the winter months. 

Popular with climbers, walkers and anyone wishing to explore the delights and tranquillity of north Wales. 

The bar serves real ale from the Great Orme Brewery and also premium lagers.

Pen-y-Bryn, Colwyn Bay

The Pen-y-Bryn was named after the road and not after its Welsh translation which is ‘top of the hill’.  It opened in 1983.  Formerly known as Taylor’s and most of the materials used in its construction was acquired from properties demolished to make way for the new A55 dual carriageway. 
Refurbished in June 2001 and renamed Pen-y-Bryn with interiors comprising of oak floors, open fires and oldie worldie furniture. 
The Pen-y-Bryn has lovely views over the local area.

The Wheatsheaf Inn, Betws-yn-Rhos

The historic Wheatsheaf Inn is located in Betws yn Rhos near Abergele and built in the 13th century as an ale house and licensed as a Coaching inn in the 17th century. It served the mail route of Conwy and Chester until 1870.  Close to the Wheatsheaf stands the twin towered church of St Michael.
Original features of the inn include the oak beams and stone pillars which makes the Wheatscheaf a popular destination for locals and tourists alike.
Dog friendly public house.

White Horse Inn, Capel Garmon

The four hundred year old White Horse Inn is located in the village of Capel Garmon which stands above Betws-y-Coed in the Conwy valley. 

A popular destination for walkers and cyclists.

The former Foreign Minister reputedly met his wife to be Ffion at the White Horse Inn. 

Closed during 2012  but it is hoped the inn will reopen soon.
 

The Dulas Arms, Llanddulas

The Dulas Arms was built around 1837 and is located on the north Wales coast just off the A55 coastal road and formerly known as the Railway Inn.  The landlord in 1895 was John Roberts who was also a builder and joiner.  It soon became a popular watering hole for the quarrymen. 

Glan Aber Hotel, Betws-y-Coed

The Glan Aber Hotel is located in picturesque Betws-y-Coed often described as the gateway to Snowdonia.  An ideal base to explore the surrounding Snowdonia National Park including fishing on the nearby river Lledr, kayaking and karting. 

The Glan Aber has recently been refurbished with work undertaken on the bar and games room.  Pool table a recent acquisition, darts also available.  Sky Sports also available.

A dog friendly hotel with secure bike storage available.
